About the Senior Product Manager role
We are looking for a very data-centric Senior Product Manager for the company's data engineering mission. Data is at the heart of everything this company does. It is an exciting time to join them as they have recently overhauled the global data platform and built new foundations.
The Senior Product Manager will drive the strategic direction of the platform into the next phase ensuring they are at the forefront of technical innovation. This role will have one direct report. So someone with prior experience is advantageous or someone who is looking for that next step in their career will suit this role well.
Accountable for:
Data engineering roadmap
Collaboration with stakeholders globally across multiple functions eg engineering, and commercial.
Develop a data platform strategy to keep the company at the cutting edge.
Mentor upskill and develop one junior Product manager
Skills Required for this role:
Passionate about Global Product development
You have mentored, upskilled and directly managed Product Managers.
Exceptional communication skills, you are a go-getter and get stuff done.
You come from a Data analytics, Data Scientist or data-centric background or SaaS b2b solving both internal and external data products.
Strong Technical and delivery skills
Prior experience working with data engineers onshore to create exceptional product experiences.
You do not need to have fintech experience for this role knowledge would be beneficial
Experience in Databricks or Kafka is advantageous.
