Job DescriptionSenior Product Manager - Government Digital Service (GDS) & User-Centered Design (UCD)Are you an experienced Product Manager with a passion for driving innovation in the public sector? Do you thrive in leading teams and delivering exceptional user-centered solutions? Our boutique design consulting firm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead our GDS and UCD practice. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £80,000 per annum plus an attractive package, with hybrid working options based in London and occasional client travel.Role Overview:As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our GDS and UCD strategies. You will lead a team of talented professionals to deliver transformative solutions for our public sector clients. Your expertise in product management, coupled with a deep understanding of GDS principles and UCD methodologies, will drive success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of product managers and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.Define and implement product strategies aligned with GDS standards and UCD principles, ensuring user needs are at the forefront of decision-making.Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable product roadmaps and deliverables.Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to launch and iteration.Champion user research and testing activities to gather insights and validate design decisions.Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and optimization.Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations.Requirements:Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within the public sector or government agencies.Deep understanding of GDS principles and UCD methodologies, with a track record of successfully implementing them in product development.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a customer-centric approach.Proficiency in agile methodologies and project management tools.Experience working in a consulting or agency environment is advantageous.Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.Benefits:Competitive salary up to £80,000 per annum plus package.Hybrid working model with flexibility to work remotely and from our London office.Opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.Dynamic and collaborative work environment with a focus on creativity and innovation.Exposure to high-profile public sector engagements with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.How to Apply:If you are passionate about driving positive change in the public sector through GDS and UCD practices, we want to hear from you!
