This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a solid engineering background in composites to join a dynamic team committed to innovation and excellence in the field of zero-emissions vehicles.
Education:
HNC or Equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
Job Specification:
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in composite manufacturing within Automotive, Aerospace, Motorsport, or other fast-paced industry sectors.
Demonstrated ability to deliver improvements in composite material selection and process development.
Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) programs.
Expertise in composite mould design and part approval.
Proven track record of implementing tangible business improvements.
Strong problem-solving skills within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of process mapping and continuous improvement techniques.
Experience in training and developing staff.
Proven ability to drive manufacturing improvement programs.
Familiarity with problem-solving techniques on a production line.
Proficient in ERP & MBOM and routing generation.
Skilled in 3D Modelling.
Specialist Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to work collaboratively with a range of senior internal and external stakeholders.
Positive role model with the ability to influence and bring about change.
Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the requirements of the role.
Willingness to work at multiple locations as required.
