Senior Product Design Engineer wanted to work for an exciting Consumer Electronics business, you will join their team to assist with the development of their products. They are working on a groundbreaking product with strong potential to have a huge impact in the consumer market.

You will contribute both technical depth and creative inspiration to finalise the development, and lead development efforts for future generation products. As part of the development journey, you will also assist with the transition from R&D to production. They work five days in-office, within distance of good travel connections.

As Senior Product Design Engineer will you be responsible for:

• Take a lead role, independently and with our team, to finalise technical points of the product.
• Take high ownership of designs through CAD, prototyping and validation, while working at a high pace.
• Consistently assess and enhance the design to optimise cost-effectiveness, manufacturing processes, elevate quality, and consumer value.
• Follow your own curiosity and explore ideas you think will 10x current technology or methodology.

As the Senior Product Design Engineer, you would ideally have the below qualifications / experiences:

• Typically 4+ years of proven experience in Mechanical/ Product Design/ Engineering environment.
• Experience in the consumer goods and or household appliance space is ideal.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing processes.
• Experience in delivering products to market.
• Use of Solidworks at a high level.
• Rigorous problem solving.
• Comfortable building and testing prototypes.
• High work ethic.
• Preference for working in a high energy, in office environment rather than remotely.
