Senior Procurement Specialist

Our client is a global provider of engineered services and products and they are looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Specialist.The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the tendering of sub-contract services contracts for the site e.g. maintenance, sub-contractors, facilities, cleaning, repairs, equipment etc. This is a stand-alone role and will report directly to the Supply Chain ManagerResponsibilities of the role will include:Responsible for the development of the strategy and delivery of tendersWork closely with key stakeholders to specify and scope procurement requirementsNegotiate T&Cs with SuppliersSourcing and onboarding of new suppliersIdentify supply risks and carry out due-diligence to mitigate risks to the businessWork closely with colleagues in other areas to support the delivery of sub-contract worksCommitted to continuous improvement and always looking to improve processes and ways of workingKnowledge and experience for the role:Proven procurement experience in subcontracting ideally in service packagesExperience in the tendering and execution of subcontracts and pricing agreementsExperienced in end-to-end procurement processes and the development of sourcing and contractual arrangementsExperienced in reviewing and negotiating contractual termsHave excellent communication, stakeholder and supplier management skillsCan build strong working relationships with colleaguesThrives in a fast-paced environment, can deliver busy projects, meet demanding targets and tight deadlinesOur client offers a competitive salary and benefits package and hybrid working
