Senior Procurement Officer **Join a dynamic team at a Local Authority in the Croydon. We're actively seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to contribute to their Transformation Service.6 month Agency Contract|Location: CRO|Salary: £26 - £31 per hour (Negotiable based on experience)Role Overview: A key part of this is ensuring that all our processes are clear, well communicated and people across the organisation understand what they need to do to help them run effectively (and why that is important).Consequently we are looking for someone who can help improve the operation of our purchase to pay process within our purchasing system (Oracle Fusion).We are after someone who understands how to drive behavioural improvements in the P2P process.You need to be highly analytical and able to spot patterns/trends in data to support your actions. Equally we need someone who can successfully engage and influence stakeholders at all levels across the council as well as our suppliers. Key tasks will include: Developing & implementing new reports to help us highlight areas of non-compliance; supporting & training users to address issue they may be having; acting as the lead in piloting the Oracle ‘Guided Learning’ functionality; reviewing our new starter training; and developing communication across the business, reinforcing the importance of following the purchasing process.
