They have some exciting projects / growth plans and they are keen to add a Procurement Category Manager to the team. Reporting directly into the Head of Procurement, they are really looking for someone to hit the ground running from day one.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, applicants on a short notice / immediately available are highly preferable.
Role & Responsibilities
Report directly into the Head of Procurement
Be an extra pair of hands to the Procurement team
Build and implement category plans, as well as delivering sub-category plans
Manage commercial suppliers, specifically focusing on Contract Management, Risk, KPIs & SLAs
Manage relationship with both internal & external stakeholders across both different suppliers and internal customers
Experience & Requirements
Exposure to IT and general expenses categories
Category Management experience would be preferable
Experience within a similar sector would be preferred, however not at all essential
