Senior Process EngineerJob Type:Permanent, full timeHours: 7:30-16:00 Monday to Thursday, 12:00 finish on a FridaySalary: £43,000 - £45,000Our client is looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join them in Stevenage to review all current manufacturing processes and identify any areas of development.This role requires someone who is highly analytical and experienced in identifying processes to imrpove, within an electronics manufacturing environment.Benefits:12:00 finish every FridayParking onsiteFree car parkingReward SchemeOpticians vouchersAccess to online DoctorResponsibilities for Senior Process Engineer:Plan, compile and execute validation strategies (including documentation, reports, etc.) to confirm suitability for use, and ‘fit and function’ of process outputsSupport Development SOP’s Wi’s and Procedures as requiredContinually review all manufacturing processes to document, measure, refine and improve process capability and effectivenessIdentify and deliver continuous improvement programs to deliver costs savings and quality improvements in line with overall manufacturing objectivesLiaise with all relevant departments on the transfer of new products into manufacturing and ensure that suitable manufacturing processes are in placeRecommend and coordinate process improvement activities with the Operations groupsLiaise with engineering and customers to offer design changes that would improve manufacturing efficiency and qualityEnsure that appropriate test and validation is performed on materials and processes employed in the manufacture of productsIdentify cost savings opportunities in materials and processes; plan and perform testing to validate changes that capitalise on these opportunities; document and release these changesSupport and execute specific capital investment programs for manufacturing equipment as and when requiredParticipate in Quality audits of manufacturing; ensure appropriate action is taken in response to audit findingsSupport the QUALITY group in development and maintenance of a Quality System structure in line with E##########018 (AS9100) Rev D Accreditation to ensure manufacturing compliance to applicable regulatory laws and requirementsRequirements for Senior Process Engineer:Engineering QualificationStrong computer skillsElectronics Manufacturing industry knowledgeKnowledge or experience of CAD is desirableSignificant experience of implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques/principlesDemonstrable experience of working with##########:2018 (AS9100)Ability to communicate at all levels with various stakeholdersInterviews being held immediatelyIf you are interested in this position, please apply direct with your CV.Thank you for your interest in this vacancy, which is being advertised by Osborne Appointments, who are acting as an employment agency / business.
