You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective treatment of water for various purposes, such as drinking water, industrial processes, wastewater treatment, and environmental conservation. Your expertise will contribute to the development and maintenance of sustainable water management systems.Responsibilities:Design and develop innovative water treatment processes, systems, and technologies based on project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility of implementing new water treatment technologies, considering factors such as cost, efficiency, reliability, and environmental impact.Perform detailed process simulations and modelling using specialized software tools to optimize water treatment processes and predict system performance.Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot-scale studies to evaluate the effectiveness of different treatment methods, troubleshoot operational issues, and validate proposed solutions.Monitor and analyse data from water treatment plants, assessing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for the operation and maintenance of water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.Experience and Qualifications:Suitable science or engineering qualificationsChartered or working towards chartershipWater Sector ExperienceExperienced Process Engineer with relevant experience for Water Industry ClientsMatchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 35 years’ experience
