Would you like to join an international defence company to support their clients by improving the capability, reliability and availability of their most critical assets? Due to continued investment, this global business is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their existing team in Warrington (hybrid working) on a 12 month contract.

The Role

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering, Technical and Specialist Capability team where you will manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience. Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Producing calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design base documentation and technical reports
  • Ensuring that procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.
  • Producing technical specifications, assessing tender returns and providing technical support to those packages throughout the design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation and decommissioning phases of the project to ensure that the Design Intent is maintained.

In addition, you will also prepare designs for hazard identification and HAZOP studies and carry out design risk assessments.

You

To succeed within the role of a Senior Process Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position and have the following skills:

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience
  • Demonstrable experience in managing small teams to deliver analysis activities on a range of project types
  • Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities

In addition, you should also have experience in managing engineering scope for Projects from concept design to full Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC).

Please note that due to security nature of this role, offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining SC security clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and will require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
