Senior / Principal Pricing Analyst - Motor Technical - Models & Analysis

Hawksworth UK are recruiting! We are now searching for a Senior (Principal) Pricing Analyst for Motor Technical. The position is Permanent and Hybrid working (Minimum of x2 days per month on site), the location is Croydon (Greater London - South).Salary can be flexible depending on skills and experience, but I would say £65k - £75k base + Bonus + great pension + other benefits.This is a great opportunity to work with a very respected company, widely known as a great place to work, and an established name in the insurance market.The role:You will join a Motor Technical excellent team playing a key role in planning and delivering models and analysis that underpin the prices that go to market. You will need to understand both statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniques.Skills & experience needed:Solid knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods – in particular GLMsKnowledge of relevant machine learning techniques – in particular GBMsProven experience in working with large data sourcesGood command of Python, SQL, SAS or similar coding languagesExperience of Willis Towers Watson software such as Radar or EmblemGood understanding of the various elements of a Technical Price, including business expenses, other costs and
actuarial/inflation
