Senior / Principal Medical Writer

As a Senior/Principal Medical Writer you will be in a client-facing role and work closely and collaboratively with the project managers, and health economics, systematic review,and statistics teams to deliver high-quality evidence-based solutions for our clients.
You will be required to:
Manage own workload, and plan project deliverables and timelines.
Work with junior writers to deliver high-quality HTA submissions and value communication materials, within timelines and budget.
Ensure all client deliverables and internal documents are of a high-quality through proof-
reading and editing of own and others’ work
Be proactive, and communicate clearly with colleagues across the technical teams.
Take ownership of initiatives that enable the effective running of the writing team.
Inspire and advise junior writers.
Line manage associate medical writers/medical writers (to a maximum of three [SMW], or five [PMW])
Contribute to (SMW) or lead (PMW) company initiatives such as working groups, company- wide training, and social activities.
You will need:
Clear and effective communication style (written and verbal)
Value communication writing experience in a consultancy environment
o Proven experience of drafting value communication materials including at least four global value dossiers, along with valuestories, and infographics
A good understanding of consultancy and how to apply this to your work.
Knowledge of the NICE HTA submission process and all required submission documents
Successful drafting and finalization of submission documents to HTA bodies including the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC), and the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics (NCPE).
