Job DescriptionSenior Principal Engineer - Technology ConsultancyExciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Principal Engineer to join a well established and highly regarded tech consultancy. The ideal Senior Principal Engineer should have a very strong technical background, ideally with a minimum 15+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building complex enterprise systems.This is not a people management role, this is a role that will suit someone who was a strong technical developer and can lead the design and architecture of a complex platforms as part ofa wider, high performing technology team. This Senior Principal Engineer will be a trusted advisor to the business and technical stakeholders as well as the engineering team delivering the solution.Key Skills:Strong software engineering background, ideally Java and/or Kotlin (this is not a hands-on role but you should be to make meaningful contributions in technical discussions, solve technical problems, drive technical solutions, and work closely with the tech team).AWS, Cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, APIsExtensive experience in architectural design.Previous experience of working within another technology consultancy.
