Senior Practitioner (Qualified Social Worker) | Child Protection Team | London Borough of Waltham Forest*

• Senior Practitioner (Qualified Social Worker) required to join a statutory Child Protection Team (aka Child In Need Team / Family Safeguarding / Family Support & Protection / Long Term Child Protection)
• Hybrid working
• Office base: London Borough of Waltham Forest *
• You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered
• London Pledge Rates Apply

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.

*Please note this vacancy is subject to the London Agency Worker Pledge Agreement which stipulates:-

• Permanently employed Social Workers are restricted from undertaking an agency role with a London Pledge Borough for a 6-month period following departure (if leaving perm role with London Authority, they cannot move to an agency role with another London Authority for 6 months)
• 3 weeks' notice period may be required (at discretion of manager/council)
• Agency workers must have complete 2 years post AYSE (3 years PQ total), before they can be considered for agency roles within London
