Senior Planning Officer

Our client is looking for a senior planning officer on a contract until September 2024. Your main purpose will be to deliver good development. Key responsibilities:To manage the delivery of intermediate development projects from inception to completion.To provide advice and guidance to customers seeking to undertake intermediate development projects.To provide advice and guidance to customers seeking to undertake intermediate development projects.To liaise with Building Control and other officers of the Council to ensure that intermediate development projects can be delivered.To process the regulatory applications that are necessary to deliver intermediate development projects.To calculate the Community Infrastructure Levy for qualifying projectsYou will need:A degree, preferably in Town and Country Planning or a related disciplineAn understanding of the role of infrastructure delivery in providing a framework for the city's growthPostgraduate experience in a planning, or development based disciplineEvidence of effective negotiating skillsIf you have the skills or would like to know more, please apply now!Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group STEM Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
