Senior Planning Enforcement Officer

Senior Planning Enforcement Officer/ £35ph/ East London/ Hybrid Working

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of alleged breaches within the role including investigations, site visits, assessing matters against law and regulations and making recommendations. The role will also regularly require serving enforcement notices and evidence of notices personally served are welcomed with your application. The role is also responsible for writing appeal statements and, where necessary, representing the Council at hearing, inquiry or in court. Assistance, advice and support will be regularly provided by the team leader, deputy team leader, members of the team and other planning managers and ongoing training, upskilling and gaining experience through new challenges is encouraged.
