JOB TITLE: Planner or Senior Planner

LOCATION: West or South Yorkshire

CONTRACT: Permanent

SALARY + Car/Car Allowance + Flexible Benefits

Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for either a Planner or Senior Planner to join our team in in Yorkshire where we have landed a number of projects across the region. Reporting into the Planning Manager you will be responsible to produce workable realistic and efficient programmes of work which meet appropriate standards for contract conditions and both internal and client expectations.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Arrange and facilitate internal integrated planning meetings with relevant project stakeholders to agree the team input into the project plan and work closely with said team and our external customer
  • In conjunction with the Planning Manager, ensure that planning outputs / reports are produced in a timely manner for all contract reviews.
  • Ensure that progress and productivity is effectively monitored against project plan, produce and circulate clear reports to the appropriate stakeholders in a concise and timely manner (e.g. Resource Histograms, 'S' Curves, Earned Value Analysis).
  • Perform Time/Risk analysis against programmes at regular intervals with the Project Manager throughout the whole project life cycle.
  • Participate within bid activity as requested by the senior management; working in conjunction with the Business Development department, in line with the Focus Win processes.
  • Maintain and update contract baseline in line with agreed contract change (eg variations). Ensure that change impacts are effectively communicated to Operations and Commercial Teams.

If you have vast experience in a planning position with attention to detail and can efficiently schedule task and resources to meet critical deadlines we would love to hear from you. some of the technical experience we’re looking for includes:

  • M&E experience on projects in a planning role
  • Desirable experience on NEC contracts
  • A bonus if you have worked in power/energy
