Role: Senior Planner

Location: Glasgow

Salary: �40000-�45000

Penguin recruitment is delighted to be supporting a Multi-National Leading Property Consultancy with offices throughout the UK. Working in sectors such as Asset Management, Buying or Selling, Consultancy.

Due to a healthy workload are now on the look out for a Senior Planner to lead the office in Glasgow.

Essential Criteria for a Senior Planner:

• Degree and/or Masters in Town or Spatial Planning.
• Chartered Member of the RTPI or working towards Chartership.
• Minimum of 2 years planning experience in the public or private sector.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
• Full driving licence and use of own car.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Senior Planner:

• Assessing the potential of site for a range of developments, identifying opportunities and constraints, and advising clients as such.
• Preparation and coordination of planning (and associated) applications including the drafting of supporting statements.
• Liaising with internal and external technical specialties, clients and Local Planning Authorities.
• Preparation of fee proposals and management of project budgets.
• Undertaking planning research as required by members of the team.
• Maintain a programme of CPD.
