**We are working with a fantastic commercial property firm looking for a Senior Planner to join their team** Across the country, thePlanning team are currently engaged on a wide variety of projects, includingHousing and Economic Need Assessments, Employment Need Assessments, HousingLand Supply Reviews, strategic portfolio reviews and site identification, socio-economicassessments and a wide variety of projects in between.The team has a variedportfolio of clients and the vast majority of work is repeat business or onrecommendation, endorsing the quality of our work. We work across the UK on a day to day basison a variety of schemes of all shapes and sizes, dealing with a range of issuesincluding major brownfield regeneration sites or heritage and conservationmatters.The work carried outby the team is diverse and rewarding, having direct impact on our clientsbusiness and providing true value. The services we provide cover:·Evidence base preparation (a keycomponent of this role)·Dealing with planning policy and siteappraisals·Local plan promotion and monitoring·Evidence base preparation·Section 106 negotiations·Expert witness / planning appealsIf successful, thisposition would see you working in our Planning team (ideally based in the North, but open to various locations) The position would involve close work with our key Director on a day to day basis, engaging on a number of differentprojects and pieces of work.As a Senior Planner you will be involved in your own fee-earning work and gaining a greaterdegree of client exposure on a regular basis. In the position, we will workwith you to gain increased client exposure, develop and improve on yourbusiness development skills and experience and work with you to mentor andmanage junior members of staff.
