Senior Piping Designer
Accountable as Lead for the functional discipline of Piping and Layout on assigned projects. Accountable for delivering safe, fit for purpose piping designs to an agreed schedule and agreed budget.
Working with external design centers in achieving low cost solutions in design and execution. Maintaining good communication and relationships with external design centers, to achieve seamless interaction and project completion. Maintaining good relationships and communication with upstream functions within the Operations engineering group. Developing design reuse strategies and products.
Project engineering role assignment potential for small piping based single discipline projects. On site supervision of piping and equipment construction, supervising contractors and completing Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI's).
DIMENSIONS
• Responsible for delivering Conceptual and final piping design packages on projects.
• Expert in field of Piping and Layout.
• Providing support to AP engineering centers as execution requires.
• Support European and Middle East Bid and proposal requests.
• Mobile to support multi center execution and project support.
