I'm recruiting for a senior PHP developer.
My client is the biggest provider of regulatory support for insurance and finance motor groups within the UK.

They are looking for a senior PHP developer with Laravel (or Symfony) and Lumen experience to join their team. Where this role varies from others is it is purely backend development focused.
You will not be expected to have any customer contact or to take support calls.
You will be coding, pure and simple.
I am looking for a reliable and productive senior PHP engineer to take a position within the team. All work is peer reviewed and your skills as a PHP developer will go from strength to strength.

You will be:
- Developing, working on the likes of app-based programming, standard platforms, features and improvements as well as future projects.
- Developing and maintaining MySQL databases
- Working with your team members to provide the best output possible
- Working in an AWS environment
-rotating on different projects within the team so that everyone contributes to every project.

You will have:
- Proven experience with OO PHP Laravel / Symfony and/or Lumen
- Knowledge of JavaScript is useful, but you will not work on frontend.
- Skills in AWS (Amazon Web Services) eg: EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway etc
- PHP Unit testing experience is desirable
- Experience in Scrum methodology

This role is fully remote, you can be based anywhere in the UK. You must, however, have full right to live and work status in the UK. This is non negotiable. Please ensure that you have right to work in the UK when applying or your application will not be considered.
