Senior Pharmacist - Salary:
£45,000.00 - £55,000.00 per annum DOE.
Senior Pharmacist - The Job:
Provide exceptional customer service to all those that come in to contact with.
Ensure the Medicines (Pharmacies) (Responsible Pharmacist) Regulations 2008 are adhered to at all times.
To act as the Responsible Pharmacist when required and to ensure that the principles outlined in the DH publication The Safer Management of Controlled Drugs (CDs) are adhered to all times.
Clinically screening prescriptions to ensure safe, optimal and cost-effective use of medicines ensuring all prescriptions are legal, endorsed, counted and dispensed accurately according to local procedures and protocols.
Accuracy checking of any dispensed medicines and investigate any errors.
Support the team in the delivery of their duties, providing leadership, coaching and support.
Be an active team member in relation to seeing and implementing improvement opportunities and solving day-to-day operational issues.
