Responsibilities:The Senior Performance Analyst will report directly to the Corporate Performance & Analysis Manager. In this role you will be responsible for the following: Identifying the analytical and data-modelling needs for projects and initiatives across the organisationBeing an expert in data management, analysis and insight and ensuring the most effective use of tools and techniques availableProviding analytic input to derive critical insight for strategic decision makingBuilding and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and delivery partnersEstablishing strong partnerships and advocating collaboration at every opportunityPro-actively contributing to projects and initiatives across the organisationWorking in a cross functional capacity with analysts across the organisation This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of duties. The need for flexibility, shared accountability and team working is required, and the role-holder is expected to carry out any other related duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever
reasonably instructed.Experience:You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to present complex data to a wide variety of audiencesAbility to analyse complex data, draw insight conclusions, produce reports and make recommendations to senior stakeholders and decision makersAbility to work with ambiguous, incomplete or missing dataExperience of working with large geo-demographic and socio-economic datasetsExcellent relationship management and communication skills.Experience of leading / directing a team of analystsIntermediate / advanced Excel: (Pivot Tables, Lookups, VBA)Experience in development, maintenance and usage of PowerBI (Desktop and Service) – or similar Data Visualisation platformDegree with a numerical or technical focus in mathematics, statistics or computer science and/or relevant experience in research and data analysis If you’re already a MaPS employee, and as part of our Talent Strategy, we’re committed to strengthening opportunities for our people to learn, grow, progress, and thrive.
