As Senior People Partner will you'll play a pivotal role in enabling our business areas and wider organisation to achieve our strategic ambitions outlined in our Plan on a Page.


Managing a team of two People Partners and guiding them to exceed their business and personal objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and career development. Your strategic prowess will be put to the test as you provide invaluable Strategic Business Partnering services to the Homes Plus SLT, acting as a coach and support to key stakeholders in shaping and delivering local plans on a page.


Your role will involve spearheading talent development initiatives, crafting plans to enhance business unit capabilities in leadership, management, and specialized skills. You'll also oversee Succession Planning and talent assessment processes, ensuring line managers actively engage in talent decisions and communicate development needs transparently. Additionally, you'll devise comprehensive workforce plans, aligning skillsets, quantities, locations, and timelines with the objectives outlined in our Plan on a Page. Collaboration with colleagues in Centres of Expertise will be vital to implement initiatives and achieve collective success.You'll drive employee engagement to 85% across all areas, leading active plans to address survey feedback. You'll manage change initiatives, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals. Strategic KPI management will be key for business success, driving effective planning and analysis. Additionally, you'll oversee TUPE processes, ensuring legal compliance and smooth transitions for employees.


This role is subject to satisfactory Right to Work & Basic DBS checks.

You are an accomplished professional with a robust track record in Strategic Partnering, demonstrating your ability to effectively align HR strategies with business objectives. Your expertise extends to managing both business and people change, with tangible results in driving business improvement through strategic partnering.


Your strong influencing, negotiating, and stakeholder management skills are second nature to you, enabling you to navigate complex organizational landscapes with ease. You possess a proven track record in managing service provision transfers (TUPE), ensuring smooth transitions and legal compliance, particularly in supporting large teams of approximately 800 colleagues.


In addition to your essential skills, you thrive in working within a Matrix Model environment, adept at managing varying stakeholders and reporting lines. Your ability to translate business strategy into strategic people needs is an asset, allowing you to tailor HR initiatives to organisational goals effectively.


You hold a CIPD qualification, underscoring your commitment to professional development and expertise in HR practices.


Your ability to adapt flexibly to ambiguity and significant organizational change is a cornerstone of your success. You excel in organising and prioritising your workload, consistently meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments. Moreover, your confidence in influencing others and constructively challenging norms ensures your impact extends beyond HR initiatives.
