Methods is building a significant private sector client - Methods was acquired by the Alten Group in early 2022.RequirementsAs a Senior Penetration Tester at Methods, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering secure, resilient cyber and information services to our clients.Your responsibilities will include:· Service Development: Spearhead the development of penetration testing services offered to clients, staying abreast of the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends. Innovate and enhance service offerings to meet evolving client needs.· Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of penetration testers, fostering a collaborative and skill-sharing environment. Provide guidance on advanced penetration testing techniques and methodologies.· Security Road-map Development: Collaborate with clients to develop customized security road-maps tailored to their unique needs, addressing threats, vulnerabilities, and overall cybersecurity posture.· Process Improvement: Assist organizations in enhancing processes related to threat management, including the development of identity management programs. Establish prevention, detection, and response capabilities to counter cyber-attacks effectively.· Certification Expertise: Hold a CREST Registered Tester (CRT) or Certified Security Testing Lifecycle (CSTL) certification, showcasing your proficiency in ethical hacking and penetration testing.Desirable Certifications:· CREST Certified Penetration Tester.· CREST Certified Web Applications Tester.· CERT Certified Simulated Attack Specialist.· CREST Certified Simulated Attack Manager.Highly Desirable Certifications:· CHECK Penetration Tester.This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK.
