This represents an excellent opportunity to work for one of the region's premier construction consultancies on a diverse array of high-profile building projects.Role and Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts for construction projectsConduct detailed measurement and valuation of works Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors on pricing and contractual mattersPrepare and analyze tender documentationManage sub-contractor accounts and final accountsProvide advice to clients on procurement strategies, contracts, and cost managementLiaise with project teams including architects, engineers, contractors and clientsExperience as an Employer's Agent on projects would be an advantageRequirements:Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working on building projects Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations and best practicesExpertise across the project lifecycle including pre and post-contract phasesExperience working with JCT, NEC and bespoke forms of contractExcellent analytical, communication and client presentation skillsThe ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
