Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Ophthalmic Nurse to join our amazing brand new clinic coming to Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and developing business and benefit from our amazing fully funded training programs. Minimum of 2 years ophthalmic experience is required for this position as well as ability to lead and motivate the nursing team on site.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering in all aspects of the Ophthalmic service at Optegra, including surgery. It goes without saying that you’ll excellent care to all patients, with specific responsibility for diagnostic testing, pre-operative assessment, peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital.
What You’ll Need
- RGN with NMC registration or ODP with HCP registration
- Experience leading and coaching other junior nursing personnel
- A minimum of two years ophthalmic experience
