We are looking for a modern, forward thinking, people-first Senior Operations & Supply Chain Manager.This is a great opportunity for a leader experienced in Operations to join one of the fastest growing brands in the UK.You’ll be responsible for managing and helping scale the D2C & B2B operations function in a fast paced challenger brand environment.This is a unique position in that our brand culture runs through everything we do. The operations team is at brand focused as everything else here at REFY. We value people, honestly and quality over quantity.While an operations role, this position offers exposure to various functions within this rapidly growing business. The role involves the day-to-day management of the DTC/B2B operations and close collaboration with the wider team, providing regular interaction with the senior team and other functions.You must be technically and operationally minded, a strong leader and confident to deliver on our cultural values.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key senior operations liaison for REFY Beauty's Digital/DTC teams and B2B retailers.
Primary contact for all onboarding & set-up operations/fulfilment requirements. This includes end-to-end overseeing of onboarding, including technical requirements.
Ensure B2B despatch is efficiently established and on schedule, aligning with REFY Beauty's team and specifications. This includes ensuring all B2B despatch is compliant with the requirements of those retailers.
Ensure REFY Beauty's service standards are comprehended, executed, and supervised.
Ensure all carrier prerequisites and financial agreements are established. This includes overseeing the technical delivery of SLA’s.
Provide continuous day-to-day management and support for REFY Beauty's DTC business.
Ownership if the relationships with our 3PL’s, including analysing cost and invoicing, technical delivery of SLA’s and operational efficiency.
Accountable for ensuring comprehension and achievability of expansion plans for REFY Beauty.
Analyse cost and performance metrics, initiating strategies for enhancement.
Oversee 3rd party logistics provider to ensure the smooth functioning of DTC operation, addressing issues daily and providing feedback to the DTC tea
Work with 3PL or couriers directly to achieve a 99.9 service at the lowest possible cost, continually seeking to optimize delivery times and last-mile delivery.
Explore sustainability initiatives for last-mile delivery.
Optimise all aspects of DTC Operation to achieve the highest service at the lowest cost.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the DTC order process, addressing issues with domestic and international warehouses to ensure a seamless ordering experience for consumers.
Monitor and report daily/weekly/monthly KPIs to optimise the DTC operation and enhance customer experience.
Have a clear understanding of the logistics inbounding process and ensuring we are getting stock to the right place at the right time at the right cost.
Working with the distribution manager to select carriers and negotiating contracts and rates, ensuring the best possible service and rates.
Work with the Logistics manager to: Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to quality standards, Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules, Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
Working with our software (MIS software, Carrier management software) to become an expert in our systems.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
A background within D2C fulfilment, preferably retail or a fast paced commercial environment.
Meaningful experience of managing B2C carrier operations and providers is helpful.
Experience of managing internal and external stakeholders is essential.
Proven track record of cost savings and business improvements but not at the cost of quality.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Detail orientated, with strong organisational skills.
Can use modern systems such as Shopify & Netsuite is a plus
Must be able to problem solve retailer portals to extract clear informatiom
