Are you an experienced team leader with a passion for operational excellence and an interest in managing busy teams and projects? As a Senior Operations Manager with the Partner Finance Division, you will manage and develop a team of Service Advisers, ensuring the delivery of an outstanding service to the St. James's Place Partnership and Field Management Team.
You will supervise team capacity and capability, recruit and retain high quality employees, and drive continuous improvement in operational systems and processes. As the operational lead on projects, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of Partner Remuneration initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
Be responsible for, plan, and manage team capacity and capability to deliver high quality outputs
Select, recruit, and retain high quality employees and supervise resourcing for the team
Mentor and develop team members to support their personal development and career progression
Manage and create continuous improvement across operational systems and processes
Create meaningful management information to drive decision making and evidence service levels
Build and maintain operational relationships with partners and internal teams
Successfully handle sensitive complaints, inquiries, and issues related to Partner Remuneration, ensuring prompt resolutions.
Delegate tasks, adhere to timescales, and adapt quickly to change
Who we're looking for:
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliverables with conflicting timescales
Experience leading large teams and delivering high quality results in an ambitious environment
Passion for delivering excellent service and going above and beyond
Articulate and able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Strong background in customer service, preferably within the financial industry
Excellent knowledge of SJP administration and related remuneration systems and processes
Experience in managing risk and accuracy associated with high volume outgoing payments
