Senior Operations Manager

A well-established business is looking for a highly dynamic Senior Operations Manager to develop and drive the manufacturing performance of its operational sites. Along with a salary of up to £110,000 per annum, you will also receive a 25% bonus (based on personal & company performance), a company car or car allowance of £7,500, a fuel card, pension scheme, family entitlement to private medical healthcare and 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays and the option to buy an additional 10 days. The successful Operations Manager will be considered from any manufacturing industry, including food or drink production, industrial, chemical or textile. You will be knowledgeable and experience within managing automated and production processes. This role will cover the Essex region, with travel to other sites across the UK. As Senior Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Leading production teams with site managers to improve performance and customer supply. Setting strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivityLeading operational performance and seeking improvements across technology and automation processesDelivering improvements within wastage and energy reduction targetsManaging finances, developing, monitoring and analysing the departmental and company budgets and financial reportsCreating financial plans for increasing revenue marginsAnalysing current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessaryBuilding a strong team culture and driving succession plan to build future talentMaximising efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaborationDeveloping financial and budgetary plansWe’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager with the following skills and experience: Currently working in a Senior Operations role or potentially Operations DirectorExperienced within automated and manufacturing processesHighly competent with financial planning, P&L reports and budget managementEvidence of delivering projects, leading negotiations, purchasing, and putting efficient workflows in place to maximize a company's productivity and performanceExcellent influential and communication skillsTo apply for this role as Senior Operations Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
