Role: Senior operations manager

Salary: £65,000 + £8,000 Car allowance

Location: Aberdeen

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a national facilities management company for a Senior operations director based in Aberdeen.

The company you will be working is long standing company that was established in 1963.

With a turnover of £100 million per year, this is a great company to work for!

The ideal candidate will have a construction background however this isn't essential!

Duties of the Senior operations manager will include:

• Developing and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of tasks.
• Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Lead and mentor operations teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments such as finance, HR, and sales to align operational goals with overall company objectives.
• Manage budgeting and resource allocation to optimize operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement best practices and standards for operations management, including quality control measures and compliance with regulations.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure favourable terms and enhance operational capabilities.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and competitiveness in operations.
