We allow SME and Large Corporations to trade globally by eliminating boundaries related to traditional procedures.We have a core belief: teamwork makes the dream work.About the roleWe are seeking an individual with strong experience in operational risk, and who can demonstrate sound knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and incident management. This individual must have operational risk experience in one or more of the following areas:Investment firms / asset managersBrokerage (Foreign Exchange brokerage is preferred)Settlements / Clearing.Key responsibilitiesAs an Senior Operational Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for:Supporting the Head of Risk in day-to-day activities such as incident management, investigation, and closure (including tracking actions to closure)Producing reports on a monthly and quarterly basis detailing incidents and other risk issues, for submission to the Audit and Risk Committee. Tabulating and visualising data is important and a required skill, as is trend analysis of risk metricsKey support for Head of Risk on Operational Resilience project, including assessing vulnerability and criticality of resources (in line with FCA requirements)Identifying process and control improvements and subsequently advising the business on how to implement theseUpdating and maintaining the Firm’s internal risk management systemWriting procedures and supporting the rest of the business in writing their procedures and mapping processes.This role is predominantly office based with some flexibility after probation.Essential experience & skillsWe want to set you up for success and we believe these experiences and skills will help you thrive in this role:Minimum of 6 years’ experience in either a small to medium size broker or other financial services institution of the same size in an operational risk roleThe candidate will also have experience in documenting risks and controls in a GRC system (in an automated risk management system)Excellent attention to detail, an energetic attitude to work, and strong communication and presentation skillsThe ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the business in a confident and respectful mannerRobust experience in incident management, root cause analysis, and risk reportingPrevious experience using a risk management system (such as Archer, Protecht etcetera).Apply now and join HCFX Team!HCFX is a lively place to work, and we combine an interesting role with great benefits that promote the health and well-being of our staff.
