JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Oakley Business Brand Manager is a key member of the Marketing Brands team within EssilorLuxottica North Europe. They will lead a portfolio of sports brands focusing on Oakley but including Bliz and Costa Del Mar. This portfolio represents +50M€ net sales in the North cluster.
As a Business Brand Manager, they will be responsible for the growth of the brands across all product categories: eyewear, goggles, apparel and helmets and will closely monitor the sales in your different channels of Trade.
Their main task will be to develop and implement the sports brands marketing activations in the North Europe region: UKI, Nordics and Benelux, following the global brand strategy while considering the needs of your local stakeholders: optical and sports channels.
As a brand guardian, they will focus on driving brand equity through media, events, sports marketing ensuring relevance, increasing awareness, and conversion to purchase.
There will be a strong focus on the distribution and segmentation management of the different product categories.
They will manage a team of eight including three Direct reports: a Oakley Brand Manager, a Sports Marketing & Communications Manager and a Tech Rep manager coordinating a team of 5 marketing Tech trainers based in different countries.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
Define clear brand objectives as part of a sports portfolio approach and alongside other brands within the EssilorLuxottica portfolio
Develop and manage the execution of a local brand strategy in line with the global brand guidelines
Manage a strong team of marketeers and trainers to achieve the brand objectives
Responsible for 3,4 M€ marketing budget covering Trade, Media, Sports Marketing, Events and more
Continually analyze brand performances, consumer behavior, market trends and competitor activity to identify areas of weakness and opportunities
Regularly report on brand and client performance to corporate brand team, EMEA category management team and Senior Leadership team
Communicate brand plans and messaging internally to align approaches and ensure a high level of awareness among key stakeholders
Collaborate with Global Media team to develop a strong Media strategy in line with brand objectives
Conduct ROI and post campaign analysis on significant investments
Define how and where product is distributed across the professional solutions business
Define customer assortments with the global brand team and local sales teams
Implement global product segmentation guidelines as well as identifying local opportunities to further differentiate in marketplace
Work closely with the Trade Marketing team to develop client marketing plans and plan the distribution of trade marketing assets
Presentation of new collections to clients

INTERNAL :
Global Brand team - Translate global brand direction into local actionable strategy
Trade Marketing - Align on brand strategy and support in campaign execution
Commercial - Align on brand strategy and support in product recommendations for campaigns
PR - Jointly develop and execute the influencer and events strategy
Training - Develop training strategy considering the Tech rep team and training managers
Digital - To develop a full and coherent communication plan for the brand highlights
EXTERNAL :
Clients - Brand and product presentations when and where necessary
Agencies - Managing brand specific projects
TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE
Qualification to degree-level ideally within Business/Economics with focus on Marketing
Minimum 5-years professional experience in Sports brand management and marketing
Have excellent spoken and written English

Organization, autonomy & dynamism to drive projects forward
Very good analytical and conceptual skills
Strong communication and presentation skills, with personality capable of adapting to different audiences
Creative, Imaginative, and constantly curious, able to propose new ideas
Takes an active interest and has an excellent understanding of competitors/ influential sports brands and the products and approach they have
Being an active team member - creating internal and external business partnerships, showing a willingness to share ideas and actively supporting other members of the team and other company functions.
Creative thinking and commitment to staying up to date with current and future technology
Excellent attention to detail to ensure the brand is always presented in the correct way
A passion for sports is a must (Snow, Bike, Golf...)

HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT
The normal working hours will be 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may need to work longer when necessary and on weekends. Some business trips to plan in the North region and to EL headquarters.
