About the hospital;
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Nurse to join a highly reputable and dynamic private hospital based in Worcester. If you are an experienced Nurse this is a great opportunity to join their friendly surgical team. The hospital undertakes a range of procedures including orthopaedic, urological, cosmetic, spinal, gynaecological and general surgical procedures. The services has 4 theatres, 25 beds, a state- of- the- art endoscopy suite, oncology suite and dedicated clinics. The team are passionate about the high quality care they provide and looking for a like minded Senior Nurse to join the team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Senior Nurse on a surgical ward as part of our nursing team and will be responsible for:


  • Deliver excellent patient care to meet the needs of every patient
  • Ability to lead and coordinate team
  • Troubleshoot and raise concerns to the Ward Sister or Matron
  • Provide support to the nursing team, HCA's and Ward Sister
  • Delegate work to others where appropriate
  • Competent to make safe discharge decisions working with our consultant team
  • Assessing patients health and well - being across a complex and changing caseload
  • Actively promote best practice
  • Contribute towards improvements

Who we're looking for


  • Be NMC registered RGN - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 years experience on a surgical ward in the UK
  • Experience working as a Senior Nurse in a surgical unit
  • Autonomous decision maker
  • Able to showcase excellent patients care
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexible and eager to learn
