The role
As a Senior Nuclear Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll play a crucial role as a member of the Nuclear Engineering Branch (NEB), ensuring that all nuclear processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with quality, health and safety, cost and in line with the programme.
Day-to-day, you'll form part of the NEB which offers direct support to Submarine Production and Commissioning teams during nuclear submarine maintenance and defect repair projects to enable nuclear Implicated work to be conducted safely and in accordance with the relevant plant safety case and facility safety cases.
You will be responsible for the production and amendment of nuclear procedures and supporting documentation for subsequent approval by the relevant submarine procedure authorisation group.
