Senior NOC Engineer in Cardiff

Bristow Holland have an excellent Senior NOC Engineer position working for an exciting nationwide organisation based in Cardiff with 3 days a week working from home. Responsibilities:
Manage, operate, and develop the network environment for retail and business customers.Act as an escalation point for employees and customer service operatives, as well as providing excellent customer service to retail and business service providers.Perform necessary change management minimising customer impact.Respond to outages and major incidents and follow incident management best practices.Provide a point of senior escalation for level 1&2 Engineers.Maintain and upgrade the Core network. In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, MPLS).Familiarity with access control models and network security.Sharp troubleshooting skillsStrong networking experience Desirable
Experience with GPON/FTTH technology, experience in a Telecom environment, knowledge of SIP.A strong ability to build maintain and troubleshoot MEVPN services.Incident Management.
