Although founded under religious principles, they are not a religious charity, but an organisation dedicated to providing social welfare across the UK, unbound by geography, to those most in need.The work they do is extensive and incredibly broad. They provide huge programmes across the entirety of the UK, including, but not limited to, homelessness services, debt advice, anti-human trafficking, employment programmes, services for young people, services for old people and domestic abuse services.The range of what you can fundraise for is almost endless giving you huge scope to target organisations and crate bespoke proposals aligned to their values, opening the doors to significant, multi-year support.About the roleThis new role has been created to focus on developing relationships with new corporate partners through careful pipeline building, lead generation and bespoke, strategic and well-crafted propositions. There is an emphasis at The Salvation Army to diversify income sources and corporate partnerships are an under-tapped income stream with huge growth potential.In this role, you will:Carry out sector research to link potential corporate partners with specific projects and key programmes of focus for The Salvation Army.Thinking strategically to build, maintain and develop a pipeline of corporate partners to ensure consistent engagement and income.Build support cases, liaising with service delivery teams to access compelling case studies and relevant data to demonstrate impact and need.Build relationships with corporate partners with a view toward significant and sustainable multi-year partnerships.Constantly monitor and evaluate processes to ensure maximum efficiency.Line manage the Corporate Partnerships Assistant.Who we are looking forWe are seeking a new business expert who has the confidence to match their experience with the drive needed to work independently to achieve significant wins for the charity.You will be creative, independent yet collaborative, and an adept relationship builder who can form long-lasting connections with corporate partners and internal colleagues with ease.Suitable candidates will be highly motivated by their passion for social justice, the provision of social care and their desire to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged in our communities.To join this dedicated charity putting faith into action, please complete the form on the ‘How to apply’ tab for access to the job description and to apply today.For further information about the role, or to arrange a confidential discussion, please contact our advising consultant at Peridot Partners:If you would like to know more about this role please contact Josh Larkin
