Senior Network Consultant

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking a Senior Network Consultant for what is our most recent client to date; a managed cloud, infrastructure and IT consultancy provider based in Surrey. The ideal candidate will have exposure in a technical consultancy role, ideally in a client facing commercial organisation coupled with experience of technical environments – Data Centre hosting, virtualisation networking, authentication and security. KEY SKILLS As Senior Network Consultant you will have successfully operated in complex environments using Cisco (IOS, XE, XR, and NX-OS) and Juniper Infrastructure (Junos OS) coupled with In depth knowledge of Routing and Switching (Nexus / EX Series), Firewall (5585 / SRX series) with clustering, defining and planning technical strategy standards, and future services roadmap. Network consultants should have significant experience of all aspects of complex physical and virtual networking infrastructure in a multi-tenanted environment as well as solid experience deploying and maintaining WAN networks, managing WAN providers and installations. Our client is looking for CCNP certified individuals working towards CCIE level with In-depth knowledge of data centre interconnects, IP telephony deployments, QoS authentication methods including 2FA, AD, RADIUS and certificate-based authentication. If you also have security best practice awareness and investigation (including penetration testing method and network hardening, IPS / IDS, IPSEC and SSL VPNs), load balancing and network monitoring experience (Netflow / Captures) then please apply TODAY. DESIRABLE Senior Network Consultants with knowledge and experience of Microsoft and VMWare virtualisation stack, Software Defined Networking, Cyber essentials in an ITIL Environment are likely to receive an immediate interview request. The ideal candidate will also be experienced in IT Solutions or Managed service environments and have exposure to Public Cloud Azure / AWS, ISO, G-Cloud, HSCN and PSN standards.
