The group supply major retailers with premium branded. They currently have a vacancy for a Senior National Account Manager position, with a specific focus on Waitrose.ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementFoster and maintain strong partnerships with major national retail accounts.Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.Utilise sales performance data to identify opportunities and address challenges effectively.Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales and profitability goals.Identify areas for growth within existing accounts and explore new business prospects.Stay informed about market trends, competitor actions, and consumer behaviours.Negotiation and Contract ManagementConduct negotiations to secure favourable terms and agreements with key accounts.Oversee contract renewals, pricing discussions, and promotional activities.Forecasting and ReportingGenerate accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on performance against targets.Analyse market dynamics to offer insights guiding strategic decisions.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align with overall business objectives.Provide training and support to the sales team as needed.Ideal CandidateBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Proven experience as a National Account Manager in the FMCG industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders.Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales objectives.Knowledgeable about market trends and competitor landscapes.This role requires 3 days per week in a central London Office.If you are a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for the FMCG industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
