A fast paced, agile and creative environment.Job DescriptionSupport the Grocery Controller and Wholesale Cash & Carry SNAM with the overall implementation of the channel strategyAssist with the development of Booker Cash and Carry and direct management of smaller wholesale accounts.Assist with the development of the Amazon accountDevelop and maintain relationships in order to engage & educate retail buyers, developing sales opportunities and increasing profitabilitySupport in the development, management and implementation of joint business plans with key KPI's to ensure delivery of key targets aligned to the channel strategyInfluence & excite key retail buyers to secure new distributionSupport with key business tasks in line with channel strategy, e.g. trade shows, distribution drives and engagement daysAnalyse insights and sales data to include in comprehensive customer proposalsMaintain a strong awareness and understanding of the confectionery market to ensure business plans and practices adequately reflect market and customer changes / demandsCommercial accountability for delivering against targets, securing new business and developing mutually beneficial existing relationshipsSupport the NAC/SNAM deliver accurate financial and volume forecastsThe Successful ApplicantSnr sales support to a national accounts team experience within the FMCG arenaCustomer management experience with track record of successful negotiation and category understandingExperience in winning and managing new accountsExperience working with wholesalers and or grocery accountsA self-starter who is able to work both independently & as part of a teamExcellent networking, relationship-building and communication skillsStrong analytical skills and ability to derive insight from data and build category selling stories.Robust commercial understanding, good numerical and negotiation skillsResourceful, adaptable & investigativeAgility to interact and influence with different levels internally & externallyProficient in using MS Office applicationsAble to access Surrey 3-4 days per weekWhat's on OfferA competitive salary & benefits.Progressive and developmental support for personal and professional growth.This website has app functionality.
