Senior Merchandiser - Peterborough

Reporting to our Head of Merchandising, our role as a Senior Merchandiser will see you controlling and managing the planning and budgeting process for a major department. You will plan and trade product by developing effective merchandise and range plans. You'll devise appropriate sale strategy in-line with trading conditions and business objectives in order to maximise sales whilst protecting margin/ profit. You will ensure in-season activity delivers planned sales, margin and terminal stock targets. Working alongside the Buying and Design teams, you will drive the business strategy forward. Managing the team, coaching and developing them to enable them to maximise their potential is key. To be successful in this role, you will be have experience of commercial and strategic in your outlook and experienced in planning and trading large product areas and successfully managing teams.
