Senior Mechanical Test Engineer - PPE
This is a unique opportunity to progress and lead a team in a lab environment. You will develop your testing skills and put your leadership abilities into action. This company facilitates testing measures for a wide range of industries. It has a well-known legacy and excellent benefits, including access to a bonus. Although it is a large company, the site in Hemel Hempstead continues to keep a medium-sized team, nourishing the family atmosphere. Ideally, you will need strong communication skills and a proactive attitude to lead a team. Additionally, you will need experience in testing and the ability to follow testing guidance to carry out an entire project. This role requires you to create reports, therefore you need to be computer literate and have experience writing reports. If you demonstrate your capabilities to lead a team and conduct testing projects successfully, you will have the opportunity to progress into a team manager in the long term. Additionally, if you have experience testing life protection products such as Dust Masks, Breathing Apparatus or any other PPE, this role could be an ideal step up. If you have experience with ISO17025 it will be ideal but not essential.
This role is looking for:
Qualification in Engineering or Science discipline. (Not essential)
Good communication skills and the ability to create reports.
