Senior Mechanical Estimator

Senior Mechanical Estimator Due to continued growth one of our clients based in the central belt is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator. With a strong order book ahead, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and come join our client s team on a full-time, permanent basis. This would ideally suit someone who has previous experienced within a medium / large contractor on a range of projects. As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be doing the following:
Produce accurate and thorough estimates to ensure costs assessments are produced in a timely manner. Liaise closely with project managers and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and within budget. Review the relevant blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates. Keep up to date with the current market trends, labour costs and make accurate estimates from the relevant information.
The key skills / requirements / knowledge required:
Previous experience in a medium / large contractor Proven experience as a Mechanical estimator within the Construction or M & E industry. Excellent knowledge of cost estimation software Excellent organisation and communication skills
