Senior Mechanical Estimator

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our client at an exciting growth phase.Key Responsibilities
* Analysing drawings and prepare and maintain cost estimates for review and tender submission.
* Coordinate within the Design, Commercial and Engineering teams in preparation for tender review and sign off.
* Able to produce own take offs
* Able to work independently and within a team
* Happy to attend all mid and post tender meetings
* Liaising with current and new clients
* Updating tender documents via companies system
* To be involved with the complete cycle of the tender processQualifications
* Experience tendering projects up to £10M
* Commercial experience required
* Must have previous experience within mechanical sectorSkills & Knowledge
* Must have good communication and relationship building skills in order to successfully build rapport with clients and within the supply chain.
* Attention to detail is vital as you'll be expected to identify engineering solutions to ensure bids remain competitive and profitable.
* Able to organize and priorities to meet deadlines.
* Excellent planning and organisation skills.
* Ability to carry out logical problem solving
* Excellent written and verbal communication.Salary:
* £80,000 to £95,000Our Client
