A prestigious client is seeking a meticulous Mechanical Design Engineer to steer projects from the embryonic stages of client requirements to the triumphant moment of on-site installation completion.
Requirements:

• Crafting P&ID layouts, conducting HAZOP studies, and identifying hazards in construction alongside design risk assessments.


• Development of comprehensive mechanical and civil design drawings that encapsulate the client's vision.


• Your leadership skills will be paramount as you manage subcontractor work packages with precision. This will involve infusing technical acumen into tender and subcontract documentation, setting clear expectations in pre-start meetings, and evaluating subcontractor stage payments. Your vigilance will ensure all documentation, deliverables, variation orders, non-compliances, and defects are managed with the highest standard of excellence.


• You will complete technical governance gate paperwork, assess programmed tasks, and evaluate forecasts to ensure project milestones are met with finesse.


• On-site, your expertise will be the cornerstone of site management, mechanical isolation, and the approval of mechanical RAMS. Your signature will be the final, validating touch on mechanical test and inspection sign-offs.


• Candidates must possess a robust background in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in design development and site management.
