We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Mechanical Engineer to join our client's projects division. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing novel mechanical systems for a variety of applications.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and project managers on groundbreaking projects.
Apply your expertise in mechanical engineering principles to design.
Perform complex engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the functionality, performance, and safety of mechanical components.
Contribute to the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes.
Draft and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of mechanical prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications and performance requirements.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and defense technologies.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
10 years of experience in a relevant engineering role, from Aerospace, Automotive, Marine, Oil and Gas or similar.
A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and fluid dynamics.
Proven experience in the design and development of complex mechanical systems.
Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
