Earthstream is proud to be recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a new R&D business based in Bristol, which is part of a world-leading biotechnology company.
Job Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £55,000 per annum plus benefits
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead one of two teams and will have a hands-on role in the production of drawings for the installation of mechanical equipment and systems according to internal client standards.
What you will bring to the company:
BS / MS graduate of a mechanical engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program
Minimum of 8+ years experience in Industrial production design, maintenance, and repair
Significant experience working with project managers to determine project size, scope, and budget
Ability to keep a project on course throughout the entire design/production phase
Ability to effectively communicate with all disciplines involved in a given project
Experience in a mechanical engineering and/or facilities project management environment
A broad understanding of complex facilities, multiple engineering disciplines, such as project engineering, process, instrumentation, electrical, and civil engineering while being strong in at least one of those disciplines
Proficient in AUTOCAD, version 2010 or later
Mechanical construction cost estimating skills
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access)
