We are now recruiting for a
Senior Mechanical Engineer
to be involved in delivering an industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of nuclear power station.
What we're looking for
As
Senior Mechanical Engineer , you will be responsible for the design of the SMR containment structural components, as part of the Reactor Island Integration team. You will work within a core team responsible for the delivery of critical path components with significant number of system and component interfaces.
The role will involve developing and understanding technical and through-life requirements of systems, structures, and components (SSCs), performing optioneering studies to determine optimal design, manufacturing, and construction solutions in keeping with the SMR modular build philosophy.
As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to guide and mentor junior engineers to help them develop their full potential.
