Senior Mechanical Engineer II

An exciting opportunity with a specialist in safety critical devices is looking for a senior mechanical engineer to join their growing team. Based on site in Coventry, you will benefit from a salary up to £55,000pa (depending on experience), 25 days holiday + Bank holidays and Bonus scheme. The company are at the forefront of safety critical device innovation and growing significantly.
As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
Autonomously owning and undertaking the design and development of product specifications and mechanical systems.
Owning the mechanical development process to ensure compliance to the business management system.
Creation of technical design documentation and mechanical requirements.
Managing mechanical design changes through production and supply chain by creating and disseminating engineering change orders.
The maintenance and release of CAD data, drawings and BoMs.To be a successful Senior Mechanical Engineer you will have:
Experience as a Design or Mechanical Engineer.
Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc
Experience in in the commissioning of mould tools, jigs and fixtures, mechanical design, sheet metal, injection moulding, assemblies and cable assemblies.
A strong technical background and strong knowledge of engineering principles.
3D CAD (such as Solidworks) including surface modelling.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will receive:
Up to £55,000 depending on experience.
