a week OverviewPragmatic is seeking a dedicated, quality-driven Engineering Manager to support, grow and develop our team of measurement experts. The team will be responsible for all areas of electronic test and measurement, from device characterisation & reliability to product validation. They will interface with all areas of the company, taking technology and products from R&D prototypes through to large scale production.Reporting to the Test Development Director, the Senior Measurement Development Manager will manage three teams each focusing on different devices and products. By working with the PMO team they will need to balance resource demands between different projects, internal customer, external customer, infrastructure development. Furthermore, they will be responsible for developing company best practice for test planning, electronic measurement, and data reporting and insuring it is consistently applied across their team.Key tasksTo coordinate the product validation and device measurement workTo develop company best practice for test planning, electronic measurement, and data reportingTo report to senior management on performance, resourcing, technical challenges and propose solutionsTo recruit, train, and mentor measurement engineers to improve performance and assist in their professional developmentTo liaise with equipment vendors to specify, qualify and release new measurement equipment and systemsTo work with their team leads to set team objectives that drive towards the broader Technology and Company objectivesQualifications and trainingThe successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree/postgraduate level in Electronics, Engineering or Physics, or will possess equivalent experience.Skills and experienceExperience of line managing a teamA proven ability to mentor and develop junior engineersExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsA strong ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneouslyPrevious semiconductor test experienceExtensive experience controlling instrumentation using LabVIEW and PythonDemonstrable use of semiconductor test equipment such as: SMUs, LCR Meters, VNAs, Probe Stations, and Probe CardsFamiliarity with statistical methods and software tools for data analysisAt Pragmatic, we have a highly skilled, passionate and driven team from diverse backgrounds.
